Sounds a promising lot of fixes. As a non-Track Ir user (which is really awkward in this game) Im looking forward to the view corrections. Hopefully the default view is no longer 'nose pressed up against the windscreen".

It does seem to remember view settings, at least from mission to mission.
Do the Ai gunners seem less accurate, or is that just that placebo talking? It's just I managed to actually kill two two-seaters day and I never manage that.

I've noticed that the "blue" instruments (altimeter and clock bottom right and left respectively) in the Se5a have been fixed,

But the aluminium exhaust pipes still do not look right to me. Am I the only person seeing this?

I lovely patch and some very welcome fixes, thanks Neoqb. Unfortunately I still get the same lag with TiR enabled when FF is turned on in the settings.

Missions seem to load far quicker now.

I can't say I'd noticed about the ammo belts, but now that I look there still seems to be a problem. They advance fine enough when you cock the gun and when firing they also occasionally advance as they should but usually they just jiggle a bit. Like I said I can't say I'd noticed, but given the attention to detail with the other moving parts it's a shame they don't work properly.

Cockpit zoom with the middle mouse wheel doesn't seem to work any more, although fine in external view. I now have to use my plus/minus numpad keys.

The cranking handle on the other hand is a nice touch.

Have you tried with the TrackIR and FFB stick plugged in to the USB ports at the back of your computer? What about with the stick on a front USB port but TrackIR on the back?

I've only just gotten the MSFFB2 to test, and have no issues using it along with TrackIR. . .panning and performance are the same as with my CH stick. I've always kept my TrackIR on the USB ports mounted directly on the motherboard as potential power issues may hurt performance.

TX,

I tried your suggestion, both USB plugs had been attached to a hub. I connected my MSFFB2 to the USB ports on the front of my computer but still no improvement.

I'll give it a go the other way around and see if connecting the TrackIR into the front makes any difference.

I tried your suggestion TX and nothing makes a difference. I even removed all USB devices apart from my mouse, FFB2 and TIR and still no fix.

Mission loading times for loading a 2nd or 3rd time are much reduced. Its as if the game loads the map into memory the first time than after that just loads the aircraft objects biggrin

Se5's engine doesn't overrev as soon with the throttle closed now, seems a bit stronger with the throttle open. Texture problems in the cockpit are fixed smile

The Se5 gunsight is collimated now and sights have appeared in the N28 and N17. There was a definite need for some sort of sight in the NP's but the added ones seem to have taken off the Spad or Se5 and been plonked in the line of sight on the NP's hmmm. They spoil the look of the cockpits a bit imo, I suppose its a quick fix to a problem.

Things are moving forward smile

Noticed that in setup/input for "Service"; when selection is highlighted, "Change" is grayed out not allowing you to make ANY changes in "Service" portion of "Input" menu. But then........the stick buttons that I programmed for "Simplified Gauges" and "Icons" never worked anyway after the first patch. At least, I think that they were working before the first patch. Could be wrong about this. Anyway, it is a bummer that you cannot program buttons for the "Service" keystrokes. I really miss not being able to program a button for "Pause" as in all of my other flight sims. RoF still frustrates me!

They need an option on the NP's to have the sights or not. I love the N28 without any sights. I can hit better with it than any other, and it's got a nice view.
