That's great. I find I feel more inspired by people trying to live healthier lifestyles, which is what you are doing. Good luck and let us know when you hit the 200s too. Stay consistent and stick with a routine and you will get where you want.

I have a question Moses, are you diabetic? I am guessing yes because of the weight. It's not a negative, but I might be able to add some things you can eat without it hurting you is why I am asking.

I am eating every 6 hours(just due to work). This is a typical day.
Breakfast: 1 Piece of wheat toast, 1 egg scrambled, 1 small serving of thin sliced deli ham. Calcium suppliment.
Between meal snack: 1 Whey Protein shake made with 4oz skim milk and a banana.
Lunch:Tuna or Chicken salad made with pickle relish a boiled egg and Miracle Whip Lite. 5 or 6 whole wheat crackers. Multi-vitiman with Iron
Between meal snack: 1 Whey Protein shake made with 4oz skim milk and a few strawberries and low fat peanut butter added.
Supper: 3/4cup of Whole wheat pasta with a meat and tomato sauce. Some kind of Veggie. Calcium suppliment.
In the evening I will have 8 oz of V8 juice or string cheese as a snack.
64+oz water everyday.
Not the same every day, that just happens to be yesterdays menu.
I am not diabetic, my BP runs at 115/68. I have no heart problems at all(I was under no illusion that this would last), I do have some knee pain but that has gotten better.

Boy am i ashamed of myself. I totally screwed yesterday up. First hit mcdonalds on the way to work got 3 sausage mcmuffins with egg although i only had 2 half ham and cheese sandwiches with wheat bread. I got home and started craving pizza and i tried so hard not to get one but i #%&*$# up and did. I ate a whole meatza domino's pizza lasst night. I was kicking myself the whole while i ate it but couldnt stop. God i suck.
went to gym this morning put in 30 mins on stationary bike and 30 mins on waits and doubled my crunches and squats.
weighed in at 402 before the workout. back over 400 again. I hate this #%&*$#. It is just your first very minor setback Moses. It's going to happen. Just move on and don't beat yourself up about it. Keep thinking about all the positives and remember it's a marathon and not a sprint. You didn't put all the weight on in two weeks and it is not going to come off in two weeks. I Know because I am in a similar boat. Wheels

It would be a big mistake to think "ah f^^^ it" and then let go just because of one weak moment. We all have them. The important thing is that they are just "moments" and not "the rule", as it was before. They should never become the rule or "just once a week" or any other interval, but a plumping in once in a while is ok, as long as it doesn't become a habit.
Ok, this might be a bit premature for you, but I realised after a few months of eating properly that whenever I fell in and got a big kebab... well, it was kind of disgusting. I had just weaned myself off the urge for fat (kebabs drip from the stuff) and when I fell in and got myself one it was just kind of yucky. Not totally bad but far from being a delight.
Anyway, good on you for telling us and feeling bad about it. The basic fact is, slimming down is NOT just pain and suffering, it is actually really great and fills you with happiness and self-worth. You'll see once the weight loss becomes really palpable (tightennig the belt one more hole, or getting positive comments).

You have to accept the fact that at times you're going to screw up and be weak. The key is to not let that disappointment sabotage all the hard work you put in. It's easy for some people to give up then and say "what's the point." The successful ones accept it, move on, and learn from the occasional mistakes.

Some advice for you Moses. Weight is a really really inaccurate way to judge fat loss starting out. The reason for this is you will be gaining significant amounts of muscle to reflect your new physical output. Muscle weighs more than fat. Your weight may even go up slightly, but only in the beginning. But bear in mind that even though this may be the case, your bodyfat percentage is still dropping. Also weigh yourself once a week ONLY! I suggest every Friday morning, just after you gone to the toilet in the morning. The real judge of your progress will be seen in the mirror. Oh and hit those weights hard, lift heavy, but correctly! Google "Starting Strength" Although you are on a calorie deficient diet you will still gain muscle as a beginner. This is important as the more lean muscle you have, the more calories are burned when at rest to maintain it, therefore more fat loss. Fitness is something I discovered when I was 26, and I regret very much that I hadn't discovered it before that. Good luck & Enjoy yourself Nate Edit:- just read your above post Moses. For the sake of sanity you have to add in a cheat meal once a week. Think of it as a reward, a goal to work to, for the Hard work in the gym and the following the diet. Don't go overboard though. It is only a very few that have the Iron will to diet without a cheat meal once a week. It helps enormously psychologically.
