Spent a few days flying around this week..had a nice little trip down to St. Croix..one of the Caribbean islands I’d not been to yet.

A bit earlier in the week looking at “the Sentinels” guarding almost every arrival on the east coast…

Southwest overflying us..leaving the DNA altering chem-trail behind it.. wink

Let’s try right of course…

A big cell closing in on MIA from the west – a few minutes later the rain curtain crossed the airport boundary and it poured.

Enroute between Miami and St. Croix..I can’t name the islands..but they sure are beautiful..

Crossing traffic…

Descending into the St. Croix area across Puerto Rico..the beautiful thunderstorms winding down..

Our nice little hotel for the overnight at Kings Alley, St. Croix..

Twin Otter inter-island service landing in the bay in front of the hotel…

The boardwalk along the waterfront in Christiansted…lot of nice little restaurants and bars..

Beggar at breakfast…

Rum Runners – where we ate dinner and breakfast.. God help this place if a hurricane ever rolls through here. The water is only about 3 feet below the waterfront shops..

The south coast of St. Croix…

View of Christiansted overflying the island..

Overflying San Juan, Puerto Rico on the way back to Miami..

Possibly the Turks & Caicos..I could be wrong..

Another in the chain..beautiful area. It would be great to do some low-level island hopping in a light aircraft and enjoy some of the coral/gravel runways and little hideaways..

Left and right deviations abound on the way back into Miami..

Miscellaneous islands…

Bumpy ride down into Charlotte later in the day..

Back on the ramp in Charlotte with the last light illuminating the big cells out to the east..

Great trip with awesome scenery.. thumbsup

Beautiful pics, Beach! I love the low, puffy clouds over the islands.

God, you have one of the best jobs in the world..

I'm sure it's not everyday you go on trips like these, but still.

Really great photo's Chris! I especially like the wide-field shot of those two cells over the islands.

So, are you guys hiring? wink
