You are absolutely right Bones. If anything, this is really an issue dealing with women from any third world country who are looking for a Western man.

I'm doubly confused though because she IS smart, she's got some good quals that would get her a long way.

Incidentally, the Phil IS a nice place to visit, the people are polite, welcoming, and warm.

Yes and no. This is more about a woman either being selfishly manipulative or seeking out her own desires which are exaggerated or inconsiderate. Any woman, third world ot not, can do this. A woman from well-to-do country divorcing a husband is capable of the same sorts of things, she doesn't have to be from an ethnic group in another country.

I sympathize with you FishTaco, for what you've gone through/are going through. I imagine that you are full of pain and rage right now. But it is because of HER and what she is doing NOT because she is a Filipino.

I'm glad you realize that. Perhaps you might want to change the subject header and/or your original post--but that's up to you.

Think though too: she IS smart, I'm sure--but also because of that intelligence she is able to be manipulative and think her plan through. There's a saying: "If you don't take control of your life, don't complain if others do." I can tell that you know what you have to do, as painful as it may seem. I'm sure you will do it and be all the better for it.

I haven't been to the PI since 1975, but I hear it's better now than it was then. Alot of my family still live there, and I can tell you that they would agree that her behavior is way out of line.

filipina women are in general a waste of time unless they grew up wherever it is you're currently living, or unless they're completely independent. they have a wicked reputation for using men to the max. there's a reason all those web cam whores are from the philipenes. they're all looking for a sugar daddy.

if they're not capable of living without you they're not worth your time, but i think that goes for any woman from any country. unfortunately filipina women are experts at leeching the crap out of men from the west.
