I've got an older system - P4 3.2Ghz, 3 GB 533Mhz DDR2 RAM, Nvidia 7600GT 256MB graphics, WinXP SP3.

I've been playing the original Strike Fighters on and off for a couple of years with occasional mods and it seems to generally run fine. I am very interested in YAP2, I don't currently have WOV so would be looking at the 2 disk set.

I have looked at the min requirements on the YAP site and although I meet the minimums - we all know there's usually a big difference between that and what you REALLY need to get the most out of a sim. So, just looking for some honest opinions on whether I can experience YAP as it is intended with what I've got or if I'd have to turn so much off that I'd be missing much of the additional detail.

I'd really like to get a new system but just isn't gonna happen for a while.

MetalMania,

As one of the first beta testers since YAP's inception, I've been through three graduating systems.

Not going out on a limb, and not saying that you might not have to turn down shadows or pit textures etc, yours should be fine for YAP2.

We include three different setups of INIS for Environmental, Clouds and the VietnamSea for one to find a happy place with their respective system.

8 L.E.I.N, thanks for the response. You guys have done such a great job on improving the environment from what I have seen, and it adds significantly to "being there", I would hate to miss out on it. I hope to place my order this week.
