Try turning off the sound card and use a cheapy USB headset to see if that solves it.

personally, I think this is the problem.

"256mb AGP BFG NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GS OC @ 466Mhz core and 1,300Mhz memory"

Why not run at stock clock and see if you still crash?

cool. Good luck!

I do admit though, usually a overheating video card causes screen lockup..not a CTD but it's definately worth a try.

I'm surprised you are able to run this thing on an AGP card with just 256 meg RAM. That's great!

Run RoF in a window Argo

Have CPUID running

http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php

See how CPU and GPU temperatures are doing with the case covers on, then off

RoF really hammers CPUs, I'll check later how many cores it uses: thanks for reminding me Smile2

Well it's not heat related. Took the side of the case off and watched the temp monitors I have on my PC. I have also set the graphics card properties to warn me in the event of a close to overheating situation.
