I am having trouble getting the rockets to show at all. Can you or anyone help? I added them to the Weapons folder and added the ini addon to the WEAPONDATA.INI like this........the rocket data is at the bottom numbered 016 and 017.

Kman I believe it is at thirdwire site or at combatace under tools.
If you using Windows XP you have to run it in Win 95 compatibility (see knowledge base)

Thank you Monty......ok I dl'd the editor and merged the ini's and then saved. It overwrote the weaponsdata.ini file and made a new weaponsdata.dat file

I looked at both the ini and the dat in notepad and the Le Prieur info was in both files now.

But in the game I still get no rockets. I am testing in the balloon busting mission.

I get the WWI rockets on the camel but no Le Prieur's on the N11. Could this be something else or could you send me your weaponsdata.ini and weaponsdata.dat files?

I have the same problem with the Le Prieur as Kman. The rockets show up and work for the Sopwith aircraft...
Wow those rockets have an accuracy of about 3 feet then just go their own way......no fins I guess is the problem. I've taken out a few trucks and AA with them from very close range but they would make a better weapon for saturation bombing of whole cities cause you might actually hit the city.

Anyway the Nieuport 11 is GREAT!......those guys had to be very good shots with the limited ammo and that funky gun....at least the 17 got a better gun. Have to go back and watch "Flyboys" again.

A possible suggestion. Could you perhaps change it to do a flat turn?

This means it turns using only rudder input and the aileron only keeps it stable in the turn.

Like the Dr.1, it has no vertical tail stabilizer and has an all-moving tail. The current Dr. 1 does it quite nicely as do some other add-ons.

A pilot told me that he did them in a replica Neu. 28 pretty fast...

I have personally done a 360 degree one in a Cess 150...but slowly because of the fixed vertical stabilzer.

They are used to initiate a faster turn and as an evasive maneuver. The neu. 11, correctly in my opinion, does not have a lightning-fast roll rate, and this would help to maneuver.

Frank Tallman wrote that most real WW1 planes as well as replicas he flew had to initiate the turn with massive rudder input.

You perhaps can start modding this by making the rudder more effective in the files.

I am not trying to be difficult and do appreciate your hard work on a fine model!

Just downloaded and installed the Roland Walfisch C.II and that solved the problem of the Le Prieur rockets for the Nieuport 11....Must have been something in the old WeaponsData.ini that was replaced by the Roland download cause now they work.

Roland Walfisch C.II ... another GREAT aircraft...

If you dont have a WeaponEditor.
1. Find "to add to WEAPONDATA.ini" in /objects/Weapons folder and open it.
2. Open WEAPONDATA.ini from the same folder.
3. Check the number of the last section in the weapondata.ini
4. Copy and paste a data from "to add to WEAPONDATA.ini"
5. Edit numbers of the new sections to continue the counting:

...[WeaponData001] change to [WeaponData014] if the last section in weaponsdata.ini has the [WeaponData013] as las section.
6. Select the Rockets in Loadout, select them in game with "Next Air to ground weapon" and fire it with "Fire Selected weapon" button.
