I'm getting some real strange effects with this mod for some reason. When I accelerate the time of day (alt+C) I get some pretty sycadelic effects during particular times and especially when I am looking in the direction of the sun. any one else having the same issue?

No it's not the sun glare effect. it's something else. The mod looks fantastic at most times of the day but at certain times, mostly near dawn and dusk, it looks pretty strange. maybe its just me.
I may upload a short video of it to explain the effect better.

xp2400 ati 9800 pro Cat 6.9 Sometimes the clouds are changing from white to green and the ground changes to black, while looking around using the cooly-hat switch.

Some perspective. The Public Record Office files in London contain a wealth of information about UFO-type sightings over the British Isles during the 1914-1918 period, ranging from mystery lights to "phantom airships." http://www.virtuallystrange.net/ufo/updates/1999/apr/m01-019.shtml
