Here's a few screenies of what you can accomplish by tweaking the environment system.ini. I've increased the sun's brightness, tweaked the sky color and cloud settings, installed Cellinsky's clouds, (etc.)

I think he's using the clouds in Cellinsky's Weather Mod available for download from CombatAce.

I'm getting some real strange effects with this mod for some reason. When I accelerate the time of day (alt+C) I get some pretty sycadelic effects during particular times and especially when I am looking in the direction of the sun. any one else having the same issue?

Tim, I don't have this mod installed, but I've noticed if you look directly at the sun you get some interesting effects such as colored diamonds. Is this what you're talking about? If so, I think this is just TK's way of simulating the sun's glare. I've seen it in at least one of his other sims, Wings Over Europe -- not sure about the others.

No it's not the sun glare effect. it's something else. The mod looks fantastic at most times of the day but at certain times, mostly near dawn and dusk, it looks pretty strange. maybe its just me.

I may upload a short video of it to explain the effect better.

Sometimes the clouds are changing from white to green and the ground changes
to black, while looking around using the cooly-hat switch.

Yes it is..... \:\)
UFOS in First Eagles....
Better untick the sun glare option (graphics) when you use this mod.

Bye.
