Thanks for the list!! I thought there would be more in Michigan. I'll have to try them out.

I've just made this post a sticky, thanks for the work producing this Mark!
BTW: just so everyone knows, if someone feels a particular topic should be stickied, let either "BeachAV8R" or myself know this, and we will consider either doing so! This is actually one of the reasons I volunteered to be a moderator in this forum, so let's take advantage of all our combined knowledge base for this advanced simulation!

Well, that is awesome, guys! Thanks particularly to Mark for the OP, and LarryHookins for the other two and the link. A very worthwhile sticky, at least to this DHC-2 fan Torquatus

Are the any tools that makes it easy to add an area in europe as a water landing airport?
Example if I want to add a point of coasts in Denmark where I would like to start from? Or a lake in Scotland or similar?
With the otter extended with floats installed and orbx uk it is irritating not being able to start any place.
Noob in current sims, but played tons of combat sims back in the 80's and 90's
Flying: DCS World 2 Beta Prepar3d primarily GA planes Elite Dangerous
And I love games like XCOM, Fallout etc
System: I7-2600k, MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X 8 gigs, 16 gigs memory,Thrustmaster Warthog, Thrustmaster MFD, Saitek pro flight pedals and TrackIR 5 Saitek yoke, multipanel, radiopanel and switch panel 3* Dell U2414H

I don't usually go for these kind of utilities for FSX, always do my own thang - but this has tweaked my interest (arf!) and I ended up buying 3 of them for about $25 in total. Oh and btw - there's a great little add-on for FSX called LESP - Land's End Sea Planes. If you like the floaters I strongly recommend it. Look on AVSIM or similar sites. There is also a seaplanes ports for Greece somewhere - made by the guys that do most of the Greek scenery and downloadable from their site (think that is also a part of AVSIM). Personally I do most of my floater flights up the NW coast from the US through Canada and Alaska, invariably in Air Hauler.

I've been working on areas of water in the UK where a float plane could operate. I have a small collection of these areas that I have built water strips for FSX on. If anyone is interested I can post these waterways. I currently fly the old bipe seaplanes from them and the welsh mountain lakes are quite something. See this screen shot! Being a new member I'm just feeling my way. Tom.
Keep smiling.
