Thought I'd bump this thread as it allowed me to play on a "single" core 2.4 GHz system.

Can't afford to upgrade now, but still wanted to fly RoF. This tweak gives me 20fps on the ground and about 30fps in the air (low settings of course).

Still allows me to play. Maybe others too.

Huh, I just installed mine, setup, registered and apart from turning off the 'Post Effects' (which I covertly suspect of being Dx10 features) runs fine enough to be playable, all settings cranked up on my machine ... I got a E6850@3.0, 2Gb RAM and a 8800GTS in the old girl wink
