Yes it has. In A1, 2xFSAA cost me 1 or 2 frames, in A2 5 to 6 frames, at the same resolution. If you only have 30 avg to start with, six less is hard.

I see a fps loss with AA here, and when near trees or bushes it's much more obvious. I didn't check the actual loss though.

Thanks guys. I'm playing Arma 2 on 1950x1080 so I didn't think I'd need FSAA but with FSAA off, I notice way too much aliasing.

I don't need 4x or more, but a basic 2x is standard on all games. Higher res usually means larger screens, the problem never goes away.
