I noticed a 'Suppress' command in the Command Menu if you hold Alt down I believe. It doesn't seem to work however, does anyone know what it does?

No idea. Good catch though. I'm sure it is supposed to mean that a squad is to suppress an area with fire, so you can use another squad to maneuver.
