Picked up the book and read it. Hard to put it down. I didn't know that the sams were so thick for those guys. I had always heard about the triple-A being so think you could walk on it, but the descriptions coming from the men flying those missions made me realize that it was BAD. I can't imagine what it must have taken to hold wings level to get your bombs off with all that stuff flying around.
When JF-15 came out, I got to play for about a week or so 'til my first son was born. After that, I just didn't have the time to commit. Picked up F4 too -- couldn't fly that either. Ten years later, I've got more time to spend on it again. woo hoo!
Think I'll go home and see if I can get JF-15 running on one of my old boxes...
