got a tip off that Gnatty's owner was taking her out for a spin as it was his birthday, so i rushed down to the airport and managed to get this shot

Very nice - love the couds.

I have only seen a Gnat in a museum, and am amazed at how small they are.

Agreed Arthonon. I remember the Gnat flying for the Red Arrows, but only saw one up close a few months ago at Cosford museum. Absolutely tiny, and well named!

Lovely photo as well.

hopefully i'll have some more shots tomorrow, the Sea Vixen is having a photo shoot in the sky, and the photographer (not me - not yet anyway!) is up in the Gnat, so i'm dropping an 18x12" print of this shot to the owner for a present and getting some ground shots of the Vixen and Gnatty biggrin
