Magnum should definitely not wear sunglasses. Those eyes alone are saying: "Frack with me and you're done deal!"

ACtually, Magnum, you look very similar to a buddy of mine. He was Special Forces and I always feel very safe around him. Last summer we were driving around in Bamberg, Germany and I was keeping exactly to the speed limit, because of all the radar controls, when this ahole in a SUV keeps honking at me. At the next stop light he pulls up next to us my side and starts screaming at me, because according to him I was holding up traffic. My buddy was sitting in the passenger side, so he couldn't see him. After a couple of seconds of ranting, he leans forward and says rather calmly in that booming voice of his: "Is there a problem?". The ahole hits the accelerator and runs the light in total panic...I never laughed so hard in my life biggrin

Whoa, English bulldog for a K9.

Dude, that's a German Shepard.

No, man, the one in the uniform...

smile

Great picture! Gotta love the whole mugshot effect.

All that's missing is an ugly neck tatoo, change the uniform for a biker jacket and yeah, not someone to bring home to show mom!

Yeah but could you see him with a Trooper hat on, shiny sunglasses leaning over a car doing his best Buford T. Justice voice!

'You were doing 58 in a 55 zone. Your in some big trouble now Boy.'

I don't think there would be any failure to communicate there.

I gotta come down there to visit the next time I go to visit the folks in Punta Gorda.

And like Magnum, I'm the opposite of how I seem.

Damn women! They change you man! Suddenly I'm writing poetry, songs, and a book about my life!
Think I need to go back in the army! I feel like Stallone did in "Demolition Man", at least I ain't started knitting yet......

Hey - do you police officers cringe or do you laugh at those shows and movies lampooning cops?

Laugh... I love those movies, most of us cops do... hell i have that DVD... funny movie... most cops are fun, light on life... it's the few that give us bad names that take offense to cop comedy movies... from what I've found.

what shows i can't stand is COPS... "I joined the force to help people"... BS... most become a cop because were alpha males, can't stand desk or office jobs, and just want some excitment... I became a cop to put dirtbags in jail, and to get in car chases, (of course our new chief has banned all pursuits, so just don't stop in Naples and then we have to do a U turn and go the other way, really)... helping people is great, but it's a side reward to most cops.

Amen.

Or, like my buddy, "Hell, the pay ain't great but it's steady, you get to stay up all night, and the coffee is free." smile

He's actually a great guy that really goes out of his way to help people, and takes his job very, very seriously.
