Thanks to Netflix I have finally seen Downfall.

Great movie. I even stayed up with only 5 hours sleep to finish it.

I knew that some of the people around Hitler were nuts, but if it's historically accurate and not put in for dramatic effect, wow.

I did like the fact that the movie showed Hitler as a human being and not some super monster.

Kinda makes him all the more scary...


Great movie. The acting, the dialogue, it transcends the limitations of subtitles in this movie to show what must have been a harrowing time to live through.

That scene greatly disturbed me.

Bruno Ganz should have won the Oscar for his role in that film IMHO.
