I will say with the warm welcome you have received from the other posters I am looking forward to seeing what the hubbub is all about.
They're just buttering me up because they think I'll buy a round of beer or something. Ya' gotta watch the motives of these people around here..

But now I have a real problem, I need to get married now in the next 2 years also, we're getting near the 10 years now too...
Do it man! If you found a good girl..and you guys get along after 10 years..that is a very real relationship and you should go ahead and forge ahead. I waited too long..I can say that without a doubt..
All the wonderful photographers on this site, and you didn't give one of us that all-expenses paid Hawaii destination wedding gig?!
Yeah..no kidding! Umm..no excuses except that we had our pseudo-family of 3 kids with us (nieces and nephews) that we were already forking over for airfare, meals, etc.. I tell you..there is nothing more painful in the world than being able to fly for free (non-revenue space available) but deciding to go ahead and buy tickets because you don't want to sweat getting on space available planes. So we spent about $3000 on plane tickets alone <gulp>..when normally we'd fly for free. Ouch.
Our wedding photographer was really cool though..we can't wait to see the real professional images she captured. We should have them in a couple more weeks I guess. Here is her web-site:
http://paradisefoundimages.com/Don't get me wrong, I KNOW you've worked for it, but man, you fly for a living, you've got a beautiful wife who actually loves going out with you and your adventures, you HAVE adventures, man, you've got it pretty good...
Yeah - funny thing is you can take a lot of things for granted sometimes. I'll never do that again. Life, happiness, love, family...all of it is very important and sometimes we need some perspective to realize just how good we have it. I'm a very lucky man.
Third, I was stationed in Pearl, "Ua ola loko i ke aloha"... Are you gonna be a Daddy??? That is when this phrase is usually used (from my limited knowledge anyway).
Err..not that I know of (though I suppose it IS a possibility). I'm guessing that the literal translation of "Ua ola loko i ke aloha" is "Love Gives Life Within" could be construed as meaning "Love leads to a life within" as in..a woman getting pregnant. That wasn't our intention..we just meant that love if fulfilling and gives a person life. But..who knows!

Thanks again for all the well wishes...we'll make ya'll proud..
