http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/re/iboshop.cgi?show270"We are very proud that Aerosoft will be the European distributor of Rise Of Flight. This new generation Flight Simulator, created by the Moscow based neoqb game studio, features the aerial combat over the Western Front in the last years of the First World War. Rise Of Flight has a superb set of features, from the highly realistic flight models to the advanced damage modelling, it is absolutely state of the art. Of course Aerosoft will fully support the pilots of this new product, with additional help files, tournaments (will you be our first Ace?) and new missions. English boxed release is expected in July, download version in August and German and French/Spanish versions later this summer."

Glad to hear that it finally got sorted. Mind you, mine is at the Fed-Ex depot 25 miles away and should be here today. From what I've read in reviews, paying the extra dollars to get it now might not have been worth it - unless the European version is exactly the same as the US one. 72 folks glued to this forum and no-one has spotted this nugget in the Aerosoft press release? The best known aircraft of 1917and 1918 are included (Albatros D.5, Fokker D.VII, DFW C.5, Brequet Bre.14, Nieuport Nie.17, Nieuport Nie.28, Spad S.13, Royal Air Factory SE.5)

Thank goodness, this is a great bit of news. I was just about to let impatience get the better of me and order from the US, good to know I can get it from Europe now instead. Plus, it's good news about the SE5a, good eyes Flash.

Are the NA and Russian releases exactly the same, i mean do they have the same flyables? Yes, the same except for the N17. The N17 was included in the Russian Collectors Edition release only.

Yeah, SimWare Price : VAT incl. E 46,95 .. and I assume they charge extra for shipping. I got mine today via Fedex from the states for a grand total of 46.60 INCLUDING shipping !!!! And Simware has a July 7th date.. Easy math eh? No nead to wait for Aerosoft or Simware if you ask me. Order now and you have it before the weekend. Cheaper!! He I'm dutch AND impatient

A good point well made mate! I've caved and have just been over to FSpilot and ordered it. Roll on the weekend. Thanks for the gentle nudge, the wait is almost over.

Plus, it's good news about the SE5a, good eyes Flash. The European plane-set and the U.S. plane-set are identical guys. The SE.5 comment was incorrect. It will be an add-on like the others. I just wanted to clarify that in case any Americans were confused. I have no word however about any other box contents. I'm sure Aerosoft will clarify. Jason

The US and UK version can't be that different if the release is so close.
