If you have your throttle working through Game Settings - Input - Plane Controls, but it is reverse. Go to ROF Folder\Data\Imput\Logitech.map. Open with Notepad, scroll down to lines on throttles. Change the first line to read:

action("RPC_THROTTLE_N,State,joy0_axis_P);

After many trial and errors and looking at the Eagles, I'm starting to enjoy this Sim.

An afterthought. When I changed the name in the Game settings to get the throttle to work I used Logitech, so when you go to your ROF Folder the final Folder will be in whatever name you used in the Game Settings.

Sorry about that, It's been a long weekend

I found I didn't have to resort to your method Waldo. The trick is to CHECK the axis reverse box BEFORE you move the slider. See my post in the Axis Reversed thread. I'm using a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.

trek: I didn't check the INVERT Box the first time because I didn't think I would have to, I was just trying to get the throttle to work. After a half dozen times trying to redo it, Deleteing, changing imap names, checking and unchecking the Box, nothing worked. Glad you had success the first time out. Also I've always used Extreme 3D Pro. Next project is to figure how to program some buttons.

Waldo: I posted this somewhere else on the forum and you may already know this, but I'll post again here...

1) After assigning your JS button, Make sure you SAVE AS, in my example I used "trek"
It will show up in the window as ex. trek.map

2) You must save EACH and EVERY time you change EACH individual setting.

3) If you want to assign "zoom in and zoom out" to your JS buttons, you will find those under: Pilot Head Control.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

Inverting it on the selection worked for me with CH rudders.

Newbie here with newbie question for you Logitech Extreme 3D pro users...

Just installed the game and getting used to using my Extreme 3D Pro. Is there a tutorial on what settings to tweak to get the joystick to be more realistic? By that I mean that the joystick input appears too sensitive to me. I barely move the stick fore and aft and I get HUGE swings in pitch. Same with Roll, and the twist for rudder. I just barely touch the stick and it wildly over reacts. Hope that makes sense.

I would think that more movement in the stick would be required for a WWI aircraft, (ie I would think the controls were a bit more sluggish) but this stick acts like a Fly by Wire F16 stick in the sim.

If there is a tutorial thread somewhere (I've searched) I could read, I would appreciate a link to that. Thanks.
