E6850, 4G RAM, GTX 280. Everything on high at 1680 x 1050, I just resized them because photoshop does a much better job at it than the forum.

hows it play Jeevz... should be getting my copy today or tomorrow (well Monday)?

Meaning is it more Sim then action, more action then sim... fight to stay airborne, etc etc

Guess it don't matter since i already bought it. lol

Oh, it's a sim alright. I wish it had replays because my first takeoff was an instant youtube classic.

It's great gameplay wise, it's only got two flyables but you can tell they put a lot of time into them and there's a lot to flying and fighting these old crates so it doesn't bother me, I've got plenty of sims I've really enjoyed that only have one aircraft. The flight model is great, challenging and fun, I'm not a pilot so I can't comment on figures but it feels real enough to me. I've only been messing around on the random missions and the training (which is well done apart from Microsoft Sam) so I can't comment of mission/career design.

My only real gripe is that you have to fully exit the game to change any options so getting my controls and options tweaked was a hassle. There's even a non-functioning options button in the game menu that mocks you while you get your config straight. Once everything's set it's no longer a big deal but still, points off for that.

Where's everybody else Jeevz? It looks lovely, but lonely. Are these shots from lone-wolf for free flight missions, or is it a bit sterile (I haven't followed this one much, though I like a good WW1 sim)?
