Everyone driving a Megane should purchase the "Endurance" upgrade in the vehicle upgrades menu. This gives you headlights.

I really enjoyed the races tonight!

A great series for me to knock the rust off.

I think for the most part I stayed out of trouble....well except for that last race where I kept early braking on Lazy (sorry).

Hope to make it next week.

Good racing tonight.

I added private qualifying to the server, and tweaked the fixed setups so hopefully they'll be a bit closer. On the Porsches, the Mobil cup cars (PMSCS2007) are now the defaults. On the Meganes side, you can get either the Eurocup 2005 or 2006 as before. Appreciate any comments about the revised fixed setups. If they're not better, we can resort to the previous ones or keep tweaking.

First race was great - I was trying to stay conservative enough to keep from giving you an easy pass while staying fast enough to not let you close to where my straightaway advantage wouldn't be enough. One little bobble would have given you position I think - you pushed me the whole race. smile I had to keep hoping you wouldn't find a way to come off the last corner harder smile

Well, I had a blast in the first race today. Too bad my cable modem gave me problems shortly thereafter. I tried rebooting it to no avail.

1st 2 races were fun, don't know if LC spun out but it sure seemed like he delibertaly tried to cut me off by crashing into me @ start because I was going to get by. anyway then because of this I did'nt get by acouple others which I would have then got caught up in their spins so I left....

I´m sorry about the start for that 20 lapper David. I shifted into 2nd and my rears just spun out on me. attack
You were indeed faster on the start than me.

Apart from that the racing was good today

The track for Wednesday evening, July 8 and Saturday, July 11 is Albi

http://www.simhq.net/downloads/motorsports/rfactor/SimHQ_2009_Fun_Series/Albi_2006.zip

Try both the Meganes and Porsches. In offline testing with AI, they seemed equal, but so did last weeks track GP-200. We may all be driving PCC next week. This one has big kerbs too so watch the undertray.

Just got back in... I missed that one.

What version of Albi 2006 is that download for the next track?
I can't really tell, but it's got a v1.0 ReadMe. If it matters, there's a v2.1 available at NoGrip.

Plans defeated by a 10-month-old granddaughter 'cutting teeth'. You cannot think when someone that small is pitching a fit at the top of her lungs, let alone clinging to your leg letting you know it up close and personal. sicko

Oy.

Hopefully see you Wednesday, and maybe my ear will stop ringing by then. wave2
