Went to Duxford last Sunday to the military vehicle display. Great 'fathers day' except I couldn't get the kids to come with me!!

Anyway, here's some of the piccies I took - hope you like them.

Neil

You could tell it was going to get dusty ...

First up the parade of private military vehicles ..

.. including Ferret armoured car..

.. Israeli jeep ..

.. SAS off-roader ..

.. Saracen APC ..

.. many people dressed the part as well ..

.. and this was my favourite smile

Then a look at some of the static exhibits ...

.. T55 ..

.. SU100 ..

.. T72 minus a roadwheel ..

.. but with it's own on-board garden ..

.. FV432 'The Lady in Red' ..

.. T34/85 ..

.. Chieftain ..

.. T62 ..

.. Conqueror ..

.. a brace of FV432s and an FV434 ..

Finally the museums display in the mud bowl ..

.. Iraqi 152mm SP (S3?) ..

.. Iraqi 122mm SP (S2?) ..

.. Long Tom 155mm SP ..

.. Chieftain ADV testbed ..

.. Iraqi SA8 Gecko ..

.. Iraqi PT76 ..

.. SU100 ..

.. T34 recovery vehicle ..

.. Sabre ..

Awesome collection!!

-Let me get this straight though... They'll allow people to own tanks and other armor, but you can't own a handgun in England?
