I thought it was being implemented in a patch prior to the U.S. release. Setting it to 4x in the options menue does not seem to do much.

Any ideas here?

Does not seem to do much, or anything? From past experiences with AA, 4x doesn't do much, although there are less jaggies.

4x at 2560x1600 should be quite noticable. wink

The patch probably missed the US release. Is 4x the limit ?

What I found is that cranking down the video options on it in the setup and then cranking it back up in the nVidia control panel gives excellent results without a major hit to fps.

At that res you realy don't want to be using FSAA anayway. FSAA eats up a lot of V-ram and so does that res.

My system runs high FSAA at this resolution just fine. smile

Doing that, for me, does not provide any change at all. The 4x FSAA in the settings menue seems to work somewhat, but the settings in the Nvidia control panel do not seem to have any effect.

Which Nvidia drivers are you using, Dart?

If I remember correctly, enabling the "post" effects (bloom, etc) in the setup app meant that AA and AF (set on the graphics card software) didn't work. You had to disable the post effects, to have AA and AF.

However, this may well have been addressed in patches. Someone please correct me if any or all of this is incorrect!

Setting FSAA in the options does have some effect. There IS FSAA there, but when you are used to running at 8x on up, I guess 4x just doesn't look up to par (call it personal preference).

I would really like to see the option of user selectable FSAA and AF via the videocard control panel implemented.
