For a while on the RoF website, it said that 64bit wasn't officially supported. It was then changed to say either 32bit/64bit is fine.
So, what's the story? It seems a funny misprint to specifically say that 64bit isn't supported. Was it changed to not scare away customers, or is it legitimately supported?
Furthermore, is the game then not optimized for 64bit? If it's not, will it ever be? That seems to be a large oversight for such an otherwise cutting edge game.
Also, what about Windows 7? Anyone try it with the Russian release?
(And while I'm here... Do you know why I bought Men of War? It's a fantastic WWII RTS game, sure, but I bought it because it's a real game. I own it. It's DRM free. I stick in the disc, install, and play. And more content is still being promised, free... RoF is fine for now, with my very solid Uni connection, but, if my internet ever becomes shaky, or the authentication servers are screwy, I'm going to torrent a REAL, uncrippled version that I can play whenever I want. I'm sick of game publishers thinking they can screw over their customers... I bought Crysis... I didn't by Warhead. I swore I'd never buy a DRM game. (Except for Steam, Steam works ok. It's a decent distribution platform. I use it. And it works offline. Though, some non-Valve games on Steam include another method of DRM over Steam! Crazy...) But, I've waited too long for RoF. I want it too badly. I have to get this game. But, don't think I'm not pissed. And don't think you're not losing customers. I know you are.)
