I got a chance to see it this morning. I thought it was pretty good.
Anyone else going to see it?

I'll probably see it either this weekend or next.

I am going to wait for the DVD. I did see Star Trek last weekend finally. I don't go to the movies much. I prefer to sit in the comfort of my home to watch them. I couldn't wait to see Star Trek though.

Star Trek is by far my favorite movie of the year and I'm pretty sure it's going to stay that way. I also dont go to the theater much anymore but I made an exception for Star Trek and even watched it twice! smile

have to say, given a) michael bay, b) the cheesy toy/cartoon lineage of the toy line, c) the fact that this looks made and marketed directly for 14 year old boys, that i'm gonna skip this one. agree with panzer about ST...better not to have to sit through a mind-numbingly stupid, explosion every 5-minutes to keep the ADHD crowd's miniscule attention spans from wandering, overly long, bloated hollywood b-movie like transformers. i'd rather see ST again.

It's great, took my son to see it on fathers day and we both loved it. It's action all the way but the CGI is done so well it looks great. A little over 2hrs 30 but it didn't seem like it, I would recommend it.

I take the Transformers movies for what they are. Park your brain at the door and enjoy the action and CGI and have fun. If you keep that in mind then you will be ok. smile

i've grown weary of those 2+ hour CGI slugfests. i now like to care just a little bit about the characters onscreen, like in dark knight or star treak. i doubt shia le poof and megan foxy will elicit that level of interest from me.
