The game looks very tempting but one thing bugs me,i searched in different forums around but could find nothing real solid about a single player campaign, since in sims i really play online!
Is there one?
What's it like (Red Baron 2) and how smart is the AI?
Can you spot other flights on their missions?

Karma,

Yes there is a SP Campaign. Several in fact. I guess the best way to describe it is scripted to a point, with random/un-scripted elements and triggers built into each mission. You fly the missions and try to accomplish the objectives and you can advance in rank and win awards and commendations.

Other flights appear and proceed with their missions of course and you act accordingly.

I don't remember what RB2's campaign was like so I can't compare.

How smart is AI? So far I have discovered that AI like to collide a lot smile In other words, AI is reckless flyer who can easily clip you wings for no obvious reason :)) So watch out especially when your flight attack the same target wink
