We are happy to announce the release of MSN3140. This is the 4th set of missions and, as we always say, are our best yet.

By now, you are getting pretty good at this stuff. We want to see what you are doing. Fly them. Post some pictures. Post some recon photos.

There is plenty of action in every area from air strikes from the Independence and Constellation to landing a C-123 to rescue 3 men left behind at Kham Duc.

For you rotor heads, there are several new helicopters. You will build a fire support base on a mountain top in the clear, in bad weather and at night in a Chinook. You will fight the Viet Cong at night in the Que Zon Valley in versions of the UH-1C. And you will fight tanks at An Loc right down town in a Cobra.

We have updated (some say "fixed") the flight model for the AC-47 and have turned Operation Swift 2 into a very fun reproduction of a well-known mission.

We also include our RF-4C and missions that will give you a clear idea of what an aircrew does. Do the Photo Recce Mod for sure. Looking at your pictures makes it a lot more realistic. They will be just about like what the pilots really shoot.

Then we will send you out in the F-105F in Wild Weasel. Good luck.

The last two are the two MiG kills by Gary Retterbush. Gun kills in a Phantom. These are dogfights.

Every story is true. All of them were told to us and were reproduced as closely as we can do it. There is a lot of ground detail that we hope you see...and take for granted.

They are available to Members only and only at www.yankeeairpirate.net.

Great stuff!! I flew the Haiphong Station mission first thing and got the train with some rockets and then took out some oil storage tanks down by the waterfront with the rest of my rockets (I can't hit the side of a mountain with dumb bombs). The screen went completely black on my way back to the ship and I had to hit escape and didn't get to trap. When the debrief screen came up I found out that I had the Medal of Honor -- and my a/c hadn't taken a single hit or anything. I was playing at normal/normal (I've tried to play at hard, but I have no idea what the heck is going on). Thanks for Mission Set 4.

@zerocinco: more downloading fun for me with my pre-historic internet connection, but then I'm dedicated.... I have already run into connection problems and sent you a help-me e-mail. It takes me more than 4 tries but I get there and it is worth the trouble. Look forward to be able to install it.
It is ironic that I used to be able to have good comms via HF radio (ssb) from the mideast to Vietnam back in the 60s with just a dipole antenna slung up. Nowadays I can't get good data comms using the internet call that progress if you like....
Ah well, de-stress watching the blue sky and the palm trees swaying.

duh

Until you complain about the traffic, you get no sympathy from me.

I have reactivated your downloads. Keep trying.
