i'll be working on the HP camo during the summer btw, itm flipping back & forth with various DM updating to the Spads/Fok and Se5, process too boring to post pics...for instance it doesnt look right when half a main wing blows off lieving a default break so now there'll be busted wing spars poking out, be somewhat crude but better than nothing, lots of bullet holes that'll look like bullet holes, whereever i can squeeze into leftover space the pcxs allows!!!

Yes, that is a real problem at the moment, as there is very little spare space on the PCX's for damage, although I have some ideas. wink

FlyRight. If you can do a basic skin for the model, then I can try an do something a bit better on the DM.

except as a multi-engine 3dz it doesn't need much damage modeling because whenever they blow up all that's left are the main wings flopping around, which in this case you're still missing the L/R.3dz but not a big deal, just renaming the default wing 3dzs as such repointed to a new LRX.pcx with some spar/fabric damage. i can do that unless you want to? other than that i could just sprinkle the pcxs with bullet holes like the Se5 pic i showed you??? to save you trouble...

heres a final visual test but with default spars and those bullet holes...

...waiting an overlay of damaged fabric on pending wing frame damage.

note the lower wing is showing instead inner canvas because theres not enough pcx space to do both sides, never was! so i sacrificed the bottom side for full upper damage and in this arrangement no need for transparency. otherwise the original partial damage elements for both sides were an eyesore to mesh with the undamage elements anyway, plus it'll double as the same full damage seen from cockpit view - cheers

Yes. Impressive site for damaged aircraft, such as this Handley-Page 400 we plan to destroy when Col. Gibbon completes it.
Big sucker, wasn't it?
