OK. I believe that customers deserve a lot better service. U.S. and International customers will end up paying more than Russian customers for ROF. We are paying for the extra hands in the pot. It would be simpler and cheaper to have one Russian publisher, no other publishers. The Russian publisher could sell digital download copies for $15 and make a profit. I think that U.S. customers, and our money should get respect from U.S. publishers.

I'm really happy for you whiners, you know why? Obviously your lives are so perfect and complete that all you have to get upset about is the release date of a game.

duh

Grow up a little.

You don't know how good you have it.

Thanks you Jason for all the effort to bring this low selling, niche title to the US market. I for one realize that we are damn lucky to get RoF, or any flight sim at all, from any publisher. Especially when it would be so much easier for them just to bang out another, boring, generic, console format shooter game that will out sell all flight simulations combined in it's first month of release.

Carry on sir, your efforts are not unnoticed.

Thanks,

I would expect a little anger and whining from people who coughed up 40$ - 50$ and took vacation days off of work to find out the game they put the money out for and the reason they take vacation days off work, keeps getting delayed.

+1

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this new toy, but I'm not going to throw a tantrum just because I can't have it right now.

I agree. And not one of the whingeing spoilt little brats, to whom the world owes everything, has offered their pre-ordered copy to me. That is very disappointing.

My life is good, I did have a great deal to whine about, recently, but that is in the past. I do know how good I have it, I went through a lot over the past several years but thank you for pointing it out. My point above is still right on target and needs no further clarification. Jason asked me to direct my remarks at Jason only. His request was honorable and logical. I respected his wishes.

Guys, I think some of you are perceiving the delay in the wrong way. Jason is not sitting at his desk rubbing his hands together with an evil grin on his face after announcing the delay. Trust me when I say that he wants to get this out to you as soon as possible.

This will be a quality release, you guys will be very happy. If you've scheduled off at work, see if you can reschedule. If not, why not find other ways to enjoy the time off? Spend some time outdoors, or go catch a film like Star Trek or Terminator. You'll have your hands on the game soon enough, and even if it's not during time off from work you'll still have evenings or the weekends, right?

Really guys, cut Jason some slack. Having met with him over beers in the past, I can tell you he is an upstanding guy and doing all that he can to get this title to market. The delayed release of a video game is not the end of the world.

In all honesty and being one of the most critical persons about various of RoF's problems on this board, i honestly believe that Jason is not the one who should take the combined angst and blame of the community over this.

When your work depends on a lot of outsourcing it tends to create hickups. I would never schedule vacation days or plan my appartment remodelling after a computer game's release date. For once, they have been known to be inaccurate in the past and furthermore, i find it a bit silly for me to do so. Not saying people are stupid for doing so, i just don't consider it important enough. Our lives revolve around this PC driven hobby enough as it is.

I don't know this guy and i won't even buy from him, if i buy RoF at all, since i live in Europe. What i can gather though is that he's running a small company that's focused on delivering products that bigger ones won't. He's also taking a considerable gamble with this title, because nobody knows if Neoqb's approach to fligh sims will work.
By all means criticize them for any lack of features or lack of information on upcoming ones in a released title (that's the main difference with BoB:SoW that was mentioned before by the way, it's delayed in development not in delivery, two different things), but if there's one guy whom you should be cutting some slack it's that Jason dude. Just my 2 cents.

I am glad that you finally recognize that the World owes me everything. whoohoo Offer you my pre-order? I will trade you my preorder spot for a Russian copy of ROF. (Legal ND games...not that Yo Ho a pirate's life for me stuff)
