No worries - thanks for reading smile

I did see Chunx from SimHQ, but being a motorsports editor I think he was just sent there on assignment to take pictures, haha. He asked me "so what would make you want to play this game?" and I just laughed smile

Thanks smile. No worries, I enjoyed it. Made me think of how much I need to soup up my setup at home!

It was fun talking to you - I'm glad I had the chance!

Good to hear that the patch fixed some things too. The new ricochet effect looks pretty cool!

No not yet. It won't fit through the door. Made it too wide. LOL.

Does GoGamer has walk-in store? I wouldn't mind picking it up tomorrow.

Sim,

No we don't have a roadside store and the release date is the 17th. My ad needs to be updated.

Jason,

what kind of cpu and gfx card were you using for the 3 monitor setup ? did it run smoothly with those specs ? (to get an idea of what we will need at home to run a similar 3 monitor setup smoothly)

the onscreen view looked a little distorted in your 3 monitor setup, and i saw a mention there are some minor gremlins to resolve for RoF to get it working correctly, but where you able to select the appropriate FoV setting for the 3 monitor sizes ?

and once setup with your FoV's, where you then still able to use "snap FoV changes" (with all 3 monitor views staying locked together) to get a brief wider FoV (for ex in a dogfight to briefly increase your peripheral vision), or a more zoomed in view for a brief precise aim at another plane when shooting/aiming

il2 uses those snap zoom/wider views, but it could be done differently/better in other games, for ex FoV could even be locked in during game setup for your specific monitor size (in the same way some other games ask you to specify gfx card and cpu, after which they set the game automatically for best/smooth gameplay. for flightsims the correct FoV setting would be so all ingame objects look their correct sizes (and your cockpit area has the right size dials and instruments to)

Now let's try to guess what plane the actual cockpit in question belongs to. My take is that it's a Razorback P47, looks very similar to the ones in IL2 with that vertical canopy bracing through the middle of the gunshight.

D'oh! I was hoping 'Thunderbolt' was along farther than we expected or that you had let on previously.
