The curved panel is nice, but I don't like the 3 lines I have noticed in the vid and especially noticable in this screenshot. http://www.shacknews.com/screenshots.x?gallery=9010&id=111884#img111884Maybe it isn't quite as bad when sitting right in front of it, but I can see it in the straight on shot found in the same review. And the price is true madness, lol. For now I will stick with TH2Go. Sure I will have the panel bezels splitting up the image, but for the price, it's the way to go. 1 new 25.5" Acer = 400 2 used 25.5" Acer = 560 TH2Go = 300 Total = $1260.00

The curved panel is nice, but I don't like the 3 lines I have noticed in the vid It'd be fun to play around with the 3 screens, but either way, with widescreen displays like that, there seems to be a serious FOV shortage in the vertical (y axis). Now, if you could run 6 monitors (2x3) like that... I'd like to see what ROF played through a projector looks like. Regarding e3, man, with all that noise, it's hard to imagine anything gets relayed.

Yeah, I knew this before I decided to get it, but I still think it will be nice. I have TrackIR, so that will help overcome the limited vertical FOV. I haven't checked to see if two TH2Go units can be used together for 6 monitors or not. It's a shame the current model will not work in Portrait mode of the three monitors. That would probably be the best way to have them, at least for flight sims. It would offer the best overall FOV. A projector setup would be sweet, I suppose. But isn't the image quality quite a bit lower on projectors? I wonder how much attention the game got at E3? Hopefully plenty and hopefully it will help bring new folks into the genre.

Yes, typically the resolution is much lower (say 800x600 or 1024x768) than a monitor setup (where I prefer 1600x1200, no AA). Honestly, I've never been able to play a game via projector this way, but have been witness to demonstration (you can get the idea off of youtube.com too). At 1024x768, and a good, white background to display against, it looks quite good. Homebrew projectors can be quite good, although I'm not sure I'd have the time or patience for that. Regarding e3, at this point, I haven't seen any coverage of ROF outside of what I've found here on SimHQ.com. When the event is done and all the articles are written, we'll see. EDIT: Wanted to mention that the cost of the lamps for projectors can be quite steep and they have a much more limited life as compared to a monitor for instance.

Yep it was the new Logitech setup. Of course they were also showing off the TripleHead. There were some flyers for it at the booth. The Logitech controls seemed ok. I don't really have a good basis for comparison, since I have a pretty oldschool setup. I still have a very old Sidewinder joystick that refuses to die. Before firing the machineguns, you have to unlock both of them using the buttons on the joystick, and I got so used to doing this on the keyboard (since my Sidewinder keys are a bit sticky) that I forgot this could be done with two keys on the joystick, which was nice. There's also a little key on the back of the joystick that you hit with your pinky finger that was setup to give you a snap view looking straight up I believe. But I imagine you can map whatever view you want onto this key. Again, I have no pedals at home so I didn't have anything to compare them to. I didn't really put my hand on the throttle, so I can't say much there

At 1024x768, and a good, white background to display against, it looks quite good. Not so, necessarily. I have used a projector for 3-4 years. I wouldn't be without it. I am flying at a resolution of 1680 x 1050, no AA, at 60 hz .
The Native resolution of the PJ is 1024 x 768. It is a LCD type, Business PJ- Not one of those cinema things. I have seen my mates 3 screen Triplehead to go or whatever, and it isn't a patch on my PJ. He is contemplating a PJ, having seen mine.
Do your research, pick the right PJ - they are brilliant. As for lamp life . OK they cost 250 GB pounds to renew, but that is for 2000 hrs. Do your sums. Do you fly 2 hours a day, every day? 1000 days = 3 years nearly!
When i fly and bank the plane, I don't look into a box ( monitor ), I look out of a cockpit!
Please yourself guys, but I will never fly again without a PJ.

Actually the lines are nonexistent when you are sitting in front playing the game. Then you add TrackIR and you are drooling. It is actually quite amazing…

But whats the vertical res on that large wrap-monitor Tail'?
...isn't it like only 900 pixels? For $8,000 bucks? HA!
I agree, I think you'd be much better off with three flat panels.
