WoW! Jim, this is the best training video I've ever seen! This training video finally does the complexity of the Ka-50 justice. Very well done. Wags stated that some of the training tracks are re-recorded for the patch, will all training videos be so in-depth?

Minor criticism: The video-quality could be better @ 450MB.

Thanks, I am flattered! For now, this is an independent product that I was thinking about doing, great to see good feedback so far!

Yep, agreed! That's because the video has been converted twice! Once, from the DVD format to a Quicktime .MOV, then from the .MOV to .WMV. Lots of losses in each of those conversions.

Hey miguez, welcome to SimHQ smile

Once again, very nice work. While the official training videos are good for a "quick" start, your version includes much more (useful) backround information. I would love to see such training shipping with DCS:A10.

Where do you have all that in-depth knowledge from if I may ask?

Emphasis on useful. Training is nothing if the pilot cannot use it in the cockpit. I would love to work on the A-10 also!

Of course you may! I am an instructor for a pretty big training organization that has asked to remain unnamed and removed from this. That means real-world training. I am an airplane instructor, though, so helicopters were a new challenge to learn. A lot of what I say in the video came from my experience teaching in aviation, some deep research on the Kamov, and from spending lots of time in DCS: BS to learn its particulars smile.

"Please keep in mind that the quality of this video (both the video itself and the audio) is lower than the final product, due to compression to minimize file size. The final, DVD-quality product, would be available in both standard and high definition formats."
