Well, after spending a lot of money last season, and then buying a new house while still trying to sell the old one, this season is getting off to a pretty poor start. One positive thing...the team owner finally bought new struts. Bad thing, they haven't arrived yet (mounts are still on backorder).
So here she sits in my barn on jacks with the suspension removed.
Peekaboo...

We're hoping to have both of his cars up and running by mid June so we can run at Gingerman Raceway in Michigan. Also, we're starting to think hard about running at The Longest Day at Nelson again...however this year it's only a 12 hour race instead of 24 because of the economy. Less hours...cheaper entry (only $500 for each car instead of $1500)...more cars on course. Plus they're having a double regional race on the Sunday since the LD will only be Saturday.
Speaking of Nelson Ledges...here's a "trophy" my buddy made for me after my roll last year. The mirror and reflector behind it were pieces that were still kind of connected to the car, and the tire tread is a souvenir from hitting the tire barrier that made me roll. It was wedged inside the grill.
