Yup, that's it. D Troop was re-designated D Troop 17th Cavalry shortly after the Easter Offensive started. At the time of "our" mission it was D/17. Snake paint schemes remained the same. Some of our aircraft were personalized with such as "Tea for the Tillerman" (not sure what that meant) "DDAP" (Dead D**ks Are Pacified), "Okie." I'll have to dig back into the memory backs and dig out old photos when I get home.
