WalterNowi Member Registered: 03/08/04 Posts: 772 Loc: Arcadia, CA	Took my son to the Planes of Fame Museum Airshow at Chino, California yesterday. Saw the MiG-15, F-86, A-10, and a host of classic WWII planes flew. Here are some pictures to share:

The 25+ plane warbird flyby was awesome. It was a great show all around. WalterNowi Member Registered: 03/08/04 Posts: 772 Loc: Arcadia, CA	Sorry, I do not remember where the A-10 was from. And yes, the agility of the A-10 amazed me too. The pilot made a pretty cool small radius turn at low altitude. I was surprised that I did not see any contrails. Perhaps the low humidity had something to do with it.

Actually I think it was a 720. Didn't he go around twice ? Did you stay long enough to see the C-5 do its routine ? It was the last routine of the airshow. When they flew down the runway at low altitude with the wheels down I thought they were going to try and hover they were going so slow. Then when they landed and hit the thrust reverser that beast stopped on a dime. For the final part of their act they backed her up a little bit with the thrust reverser. Wheelsup IIRC, the A-10 pilot did made 2 complete turns. I didn't see much of the C-5/C-17 display. I was on my way out. My son got his plane toys and he was anxious to go home and play with his little brother

You ought to see them when they do their FCF's (Functional Check Flight). Of course, they are unloaded, but they go straight down, straight down, tight turns, you name it. Really something to see.
