I'm #2 off the Hancock to go after a particular gun the Marines at Khe Sanh want knocked out.











FAC finds the gun for us...





Lead calls us in hot...

...I miss on my first pass and hauled around too hard to avoid a .51 and 37mm banging away...

...as soon as I did it, I knew, bad move, I'm losing too much speed...

...time to vacate
