Hi,

looks to me Sera already have this window implemented(just over the buttom panel between the pedals). A VERY good cockpit!

btw. just a reminder:
With the new "view offset system"(vc_offset_**.mpf) we can look around the frames and plating, as result it make sence to draw parts of the plane we cant see with the default views!!

In theory, if the cockpits are drawn right, we now even can raise the view position upward(while landing or so), and look over the cowling, or we can look rearward around the plating to see the tail of the plane.

Currently most cockpits end behind the rear plating, so for now we cant take full advantage of the view offsets, but once the cockpits are drawn right, it will be a blast!!

Greetings,

Knegel

Itīs a bit more complicated, guys.

In fact, the floor in front of the control column and in front of the visible eight floor gauges is consisting of a great single glass panel. The window visible on CJīs pic is outside the bombbay and thus visible all the time. When the bombbay was opened during the attack the glass floor came to function as a whole. When this could be modeled in EAW, then Knegelīs method could be used to full advantage.
The visible front windows of the Me 210/410 already provided an excellent view, the bombbay window exceeded this by far.
Thatīs a feature not known very much. The Me 210/410 had a bad reputation - in fact initially it was a advanced concept. Until they shortened the fuselage for reasons of material saving... duh

By the way, I have completed my research on the Ju-87, and I am making the rest of the gauges I needed for it. Should be ready soon!

Thank you CJ!
I have almost clever the cockpit of the ju87b1, now I am adding textures in 24 bits, the two files of textures ju87x.pcx that ships you a while ago, is those that will use for the cockpit, I request to you when you have clever the needles of the instruments ship him to me, I can see this way them like they are.

Jokes aside - the Me 410 would be a nice replacement for the Bf 110 - as the original has been, too...
