The problem with the Lock On A10 is the basic fight modelling, it never really did it for me and once the advanced flight model Su25 was released I couldn't go back.
Lock On's avionics were always deep enough for me, I'd be happy with Lock On style generic avionics but with DCS flight models. Flight simming has always been about the flying for me rather than button pushing. I like and appreciate what ED is doing with the DCS series but there's always going to be restrictions preventng the modelling of current aircraft (A10C accepted) I just think there's another way available and an avionics lite product would appeal to a lot of people, as well as giving the flexibility to include a greater range of current aircraft.
The Lock On name is irrelevant, they could easilly call is something else, irc ED have all the code rights UBI just own the Lock On name.
