Here is another video I found that was posted yesterday. I assume this is the Russian retail version of RoF with all the options turned on which include language settings set to english which I heard is default in another thread.

The second video has icons enabled.....but they still display even when they should be obscured by structures like wings and cockpit. Sorry, but that is so 10 years ago. I hope that is a beta in the video. I can't believe they would let that go in 2009.

I think the devs might be wanting to take a different perspective or add in another option for your main view?

Closed pit - with no icons
Closed pit - with icons viewable through pit/wing structure.
Closed pit - with icons not viewable through pit/wing structure ?
Open pit?

Again, this all speculation on my part and this is something we can certainly suggest if is not in game already with the Russian version.

Wedge, the second video posted here was made and previewed by Neoqb quite some time ago, and it's from their in-studio play I believe.

Still, it does show different options within the pre-release RoF game environment.

I was looking at the posting date of the video which is 5.4.09 which is May 4th, 2009 of course now thinking about it I bet that would be April 5th, 2009 in Russia? But then I did a search on Youtube for "RoF" with the option selected for "uploaded this week" in which this video comes up with those search parameters?

Looks frigging amazing all around. The perspective looks a little skewed though. The tail of that plane seems further away that I would imagine it to be.
