I am a bit surprised that a member here had to point out these screenies and a representative of ED did not come on these boards and present them. They sure did on other boards. This site is a sim site that CANNOT be overlooked when it comes to things like this.

What other boards? The only place I can find where they were posted by an ED rep is the official forum.

LOL, it looks like the Infantryman is doing the "OPFOR Glide," where he isn't animated in his movement.

That's why we won the Cold War. Russians had to step left-right-left, while their opposing forces could take a knee and glide magically across the ground. Made us less tired.

They posted at Frugals World all the screenshots. http://forums.frugalsworld.com/vbb/showpost.php?p=1657526&postcount=379 Hopefully it was just an oversite or miscommunication or something. This DCS BS Board is more active then Frugals is.

This forum is not exactly busy I would say. Most people interested in DCS visit the ED forums anyway. And despite having their own forums, EvilBivol and AlphaOneSix drop by here quiet frequently to answer question and put things straigth from time to time.

I find that the SimHQ forums are active enough that members typically relay important updates on their own. Speaking for myself, I am often curious to see whether outside forums announce and carry our info without us purposely advertising it there. I think it helps gauge the level of interest and reach. If something important is not relayed, I or somebody else will usually make a post about it, as we've done many times here on the SimHQ boards.

So thanks for relaying the sneak peak here! I think it's a good sign that we didn't have to do it ourselves. smile
