The 266 Squadron RFC has just recently formed specifically to fly Rise Of Flight: The First Great Air War competitively as well as for leisure. Our new website is under construction at Squadron 266 RFC and our forum is at Squadron 266 RFC Forum.

Our focus will be on flying Rise Of Flight, participating in the Rise Of Flight community, developing a strong cohesive squadron of friends who can be serious while also having fun, and requiring excellent character of its members.

The 777 AVG will be re-forming soon and re-enacting its little known Great War origins. Twenty or so years before volunteering on the Eastern Front in WWII, its commanding staff served with the lesser known American Volunteer Group in WWI which fought on behalf of the RFC.

The US13th Aero Squadron "Grim Reapers" are Flying High in ROF!!!



Salute Everyone!

The US13th Aero Squadron has moved to the realm of ROF, leaving our much loved old friend "Red Baron 3D" behind! We are gearing up for new recruitment and have begun practices in our new server. Those of you from RB3D will remember our US13th Pilots names, such as: Butcher, Doolittle, Grayghost, Ripper, Hookman, Grandpa, Spade, Willy, Bulldog, Knikl, Buzz, Zippallo, Doc, Robusto, and Bonster! Not only are we putting out a "call to arms" to all pilots, but we are extending an invitation to visit a practice and fly with the US13th. Look for the US13th server and join us for some fun, as a prospective member, or just a fellow pilot in the greatest community in all of gaming--the Rise of Flight Gaming Community!!!

We used to fly RB3D from 2001 to 2006 and then switched to Targetware where we created our own mod called War over Poland dedicated to 1920 war with Soviet Russia and 1939 war with Nazi Germany. Currently we are slowly upgrading our hardware to meet the RoF requirements. The website will be hopefully redesigned as well.
