Carrier warfare do belong in the Pacific Theater and not in the ETO. I would like to see them in use in the Pacific in a future patch. This will only enhance this program. The ability to fly not in the ETO but also in the PTO. Now this will make this Sim a true World war two flight Sim!

Diversity is the name of the game!

Thank you!

there was allied carriers in the ETO and MTO.

Some peole already work on a PTO addon for this new carriers.
The old, flat carriers are available in EAW(PTO) since ages.

Greetings,

Although the screenies are from the ETO scenario their importance is that they demonstrate that the eaw 1.28a exe under development can handle carriers. It is up to the modders to produce scenarios which will utilise the capabilities that we are including.
A quick hack of the ETO targets/tardata.dat and associated files was made to test the routines, and nobody is really suggesting an ETO carrier based scenario. However, I would add that my late brother flew with the FAA from the Indefatigable whilst it was escorting convoys to Russia. Their operations included attacks on the Tirpitz to keep it busy and effectively out of their way.
