You have something set wrong. First, read this:

http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2684133/AAR_Huey_at_Can_Tho.html#Post2684133

You must have a stick with rudder control and you must set the Thrust Vectoring the way we have it in YAPCONTROLS. Then you have to think "helicopter" instead of "airplane".

Describe something you do and how it goes wrong for you. That may give me a clue to what is happening. I can fly the big ones onto the deck of a destroyer and land them easily.

I've had the same problem as Stratos in that mission. I'm one of the world's worst chopper pilots, but at least I can take off, not crash, and land somewhere in the general vicinity of where I'm supposed to land. I've been able to fly the UH-IB gunship in mission #5, but in the SeaWolves mission the aircraft is uncontrolable. I can't even really get it off the deck of the LST. The mission has been unflyable for me.

On that mission, it is a Cat shot off a carrier. Just go with it until you are free from the animation. It might be set for too long a throw. Just release brakes and hang on.

Thanks. I didn't realize that the brakes were on.

I can't say that I did. However, I did find out that if you just release the brakes (don't touch any other controls) that you'll jump into the air and then take control from there. It's that simple.

You will get to love the helicopters in YAP more and more. And when you get REALLY good, we will be finished with this one.

WIP BETA only. The whole trick is amazing. Nothing is painted yet. Have to make the Hornet still. It's called Chink 69. You get to go into Haiphong Harbor to rescue a downed pilot and land in the dark in a very small place.

Piece of cake.

PJ's never have to buy beer anywhere in the world.

Hey. That's supposed to be yellow.

I think I'll wait for the boat. Thanks anyway.

The jungle version has a line a LOT longer than this.
