Here is my first attempt to illustrate Korean War, USAF pilots...
Thanks to PeterD and his Sabre Mod!
After just one day researching, I've got 3 summer outfits, featuring:
Detailed, khaki drill or olive drab overalls with dark blue, thin summer, flight jacket.
Accurate for the period life jacket, back type parachute and harness and anti-g suit.
I also detailed the oxygen mask a bit and added leather rim to the flight helmet.
(I have some work to do still, to align the pilot faces perfectly.but I'm too tired right now). :roll:

Did some more research, yesterday...
Some corrections have been made and the summer suits are near completion. (and release)
The new helmet and mask skin, still needs some superdetailing to be fine by my standards.

Those are terrific! And the metal textures on that Sabre look great.
I can't wait to do some hunting over MiG alley!
By the way...I assume those pilots will work in other planes, right? They'd look good in the Mustangs with Korean War paintschemes, too.

Yes they work...the only problem is that the head-helmet mapping is a bit differrent on the Sabre and in a regular plane thus, from too close, may not look so right...(only the head-face,but it's hell important)!
I have this in mind and I want to find the best compromise before releasing.
