Remember the Sperry Univac 8" floppies?

I think the Commodore 32 blew the market open for simming personally.

The 64 was the bomb...F-19 and me spent many a late night

I once bought a monitor "that would be VGA capable," and wasn't so I returned it to Service Merchandise.

All of this talking got me to install a bunch of old sims on my WinXP box using DOSBox. I've managed to get Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe, Red Baron, Aces of the Pacific, Aces Over Europe, Aces of the Deep, Jet Fighter II and Wings of Glory up and running! biggrin

Well damn, looks like you have some fun days of retro-simming ahead of you!

I absolutely loved "Aces of the Deep" and I remember the Windows 95 version which supported voice commands.

Indeed, thanks! I'm having a blast playing SWOTL and Wings of Glory. Wings of Glory runs much smoother via DOSBox than it did on my old 66Mhz machine! Aces Over Europe is playing a bit slow though... I might need to do some adjusting here and there.
