Why not approach from the beach side?
The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

Why not approach from the beach side? If the pilot overshoots the runway and cant pull up, he'd plow right into traffic!

Now, if the cars and bikes were cut off vertically instead of horizontally, the pilot would have more room if he had to go around.

This is the pic before it was Gimped: http://www.darts-page.com/images/plane_pic_improved.jpgNote there is in fact a wheel on the lead motorcycle. In fact, the original (as I present it) shows the airstrip is much, much harder to land on than the doctored one in the first post, as it had erased out other air traffic.

I bet Billzilla could land on that strip with no problem! Erm, don't know about that!! But I've flown around Papua New Guinea a fair bit and they have some interesting strips there. Here's one, Fane -> 16 slope, no chance of a missed approach. That's one of the steeper ones, but there's plenty where there's no way of going around.

Judging from the angle of approach the guys in the mini cooper are going to get one really close haircut.
LOL at Dart.
Are you this funny in person? It might be worth a trip to Georgia just to find out.

Tom, http://www.darts-page.com/forumSubstitute the word "nice" for "funny." And the words "make love to you" for "make you laugh." To be honest, the UFO and the pterodactyls were my son's idea. That poor plane is 'shopped in pretty badly, as are the vehicles.

It's included in FlyTampa's St Maarten scenery for FS9 (and FSX as well I think). Very nice airport to land on, less than 10 minutes flying from Princess Juliana airport.
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
