Nice pics - Blast deflector not working is a bug - might just need an ini code change

Thanks, so anyone knows how to fix the jet blast deflectors? Is it a known issue? I run vanilla install of SF2NA (not merged with earlier titles).

Hiding in the bushes
On my way back to Nimitz after first successful mission in the campaign over Iceland I met a flight of Tomcats from sister squadron (VF-41 Black Aces) so took the opportunity to take some pictures for the squadron photo book wink

I handed the camera to the GIB so he could capture the moment from his point of view.

Thats me with #3 and #4 in the backround.

RIO checking out remaing ordinance on Black Aces Cats - they will add few kills to their killboard today!

OK Merlin, enough fun for today let's head for home.

These 3 shots were taken by the crew of the escorting vessel and from the Nimitz portraying my landing.

Caught 1st wire - LSO's landing score will lover my average, but what the hell I got 3 kills today!

I don't know how to fix the blast deflectors. But on my install the only Carrier class that doesn't have working deflectors is the Nimitz Class.

Thanks Kodiak!

I didn't used any ini edits, no mods whatsoever - vanilla install. And it's quite simple really - I just pause the game, press CTRL-F12 (for free roaming camera) and position the view to get the shot that I want, even from inside the cockpit of aircraft model - this way I took the shots from the RIO seat and from the pilot seat with the RIO in the shot.

Going high in this F-22

Love this HFD/TFD remake of the Iceland North Atlantic terrain!
Better than the stock NA terrain IMHO.

I'm hit.

This guy got me.

Now it gets seriously hot in there!

That is indeed one sweet looking Russian bird of prey. I would love to get my hands on this one as well.
