Finished Mission 2 of round 2.
1 try,downed 1 109,lost 2 hurris,got strafed landing,kaput.
No2 try,better success this time,downed 3 109s,1Hurri destroyed with pilot.
Dont know how to take both the screens(Report and Diary)at the same time.
Perhaps someone can tell me.
Also forgot to write my log of the action,i will have to get that in my head next time,i blame jerry for that,
he had me to excited
That was such a dogfight,hard to see them coming at you out of that dark blue sky,but very exciting stuff.

Round 2 - Alone in the Blue:

First attempt:

Got one of the blighters but in the excitement lost sight of his wingman. Unfortunately, he didn't lose sight of me and dispatched me as I was congratulating myself!

Second attempt:

Combat Report.


Day trip to France. Didn't stop to pick up any duty free.

Round 2, Mission 2: Deere Over Dunkirk

First attempt...flamed!

Second attempt...1 kill. No Hurricanes shot down. However, I don't know how to take a screen shot of BOTH my debriefing screen + the Diary summary...so you'll have to take my word for it!



Landed "winchester" at Hawkinge:

Deere Over Dunkirk:

First Attempt - shot down two and damaged a third but spun in during a low-level chase.

Second Attempt:
Went to the aid of some Hurricanes and got onto a twisting-turning fight with the 109s persuing them.
Tally Ho!

Shot down one with a very short burst and damaged another after a long chase, who then made for home.


I followed him, caught him and finished him off.

I was most of the way to France by this time and in the distance saw the remainder of the 109s heading for home; so I thought 'What the hell' and followed them at a discrete distance.

Over France I joined them in their landing circuit and they didn't seem to notice me trailing behind them.
So far, so good.

I waited until all but one had landed and when he dropped his wheels on his final approach, let him have it.
Never give a sucker an even break.

He dropped away and I thought he had gone down, so I straffed the airfield and destroyed another two on the ground (I thought it was more until I saw the combat report).

I'd done three runs when I saw the last 109 still flying but trailing smoke, caught him and finished him off.

Then it was home to Hawkinge.

I checked the Diary (haven't installed Rapidshot yet) and everyone else had been detroyed i.e. 3 Hurricanes and 11 Spitfires.
