First, I believe the KC-135 is doing the pitching. You know they all move a little or they look unreal to the eye. But I can hold them very steady with practice...and that is what pilots do. Practice.
What you need in your controls in [ControlSet001] is this set of commands specifically:
THRUST_VECTOR_UP=UPARROW
THRUST_VECTOR_DOWN=DOWNARROW
This cannot be done by going into the Control section in WOV. When you do that, it defaults to its old commands. You do this by opening the file and inserting it if you don't use one of our canned sets.
Taking on fuel happens when you have pushed the UPARROW (for about 3-4 seconds) and stops when you push the DOWNARROW an equal amount of time. Sure, it's a cheat if you can do it elsewhere but this is a simulation.
As far as flying: Keep a 50 knot overtake until it looks like you are going to blow by him, then retard the throttle and pop the speedbrake. Here is your first lesson: anticipate. Before you start to fall behind and have to light the afterburner, close the airbrake and ease the throttle up. Make small controlled movements with throttle and stick. If you make a move, almost immediately take half of it away. Soon you will see that it is a matter of controlled closure and not parking a car.
Practice. It's very satisfying to do this right.
