I have been meaning to post these pics for a long time and I finally got around to uploading them today since I am playing hooky from work. smile

These are all taken from my Canon Powershot S3 IS with all of the auto stuff turned on. I'm no photographer. But there are some sweet cars here. At the Vintage Gran Prix a ticket gets you full access to the pits. That is actually what I enjoyed the most. As you can see from the pic, you can walk right up to these cars. Everyone in the pits was very nice and as long as they weren't too busy they were quite happy to tell you all about the car.

The racing was exciting too, but you could tell that most of them weren't going to push their babies too hard for fear of wrecking. It was a good time and I am hoping to go again this year in June. If I do, I will probably not wait 2 years before posting. biggrin

Great shots Biff! Wow, a Porsche 917? Loved the Camaro shots, shame about the GT350, hope it's not injured too bad.

I think those Camaros were my favorite. They sounded great running around that track and the guy who owned them shined them up after every race. Although, those Vettes sounded awesome screaming down the straight too. Lots of beautiful cars.
